Flawless

Haha, ha.

Although I don't hate the PPG, this was just fucking hilarious. The graphics were average; not bad quality, but could use some improvement. (Actually the only fault is the accuracy of the rendering...perhaps if it ended up looking exactly like the original, or a deviation that I prefer the looks of, rather than a mediocre copy, I'd rate this part much higher. But that's a bit too much to expect, and besides, that wasn't the point.) Nice use of sound there, it really added a nice touch from "put it in her motherfucking mouth" (subtle bit of instructions there, eh) to the ending song. Violence, well, what else could I expect from something with a title of "Kill Blossom". Great job on this one, I thoroughly enjoyied this and it gave me a good laugh.

Not bad

It's okay but nothing more...Not a bad way to modify a car in PS, but it's not a first class tutorial. I noticed the rims and the grill were off, and you left out a bit (blending & deleting parts of the background) when you lower the body. Also you weren't too clear on the decal part. It's simple in demonstrating technique, but personally I don't think the car looked much better afterwards ;\ In the technical area, you could have arranged the steps a lot more neatly; most of the pics looked haphazardly arranged, overlapping the edge and each other. Overall not bad, but nothing commendable.

Yeah well i kinda rushed it to submit it. If I had more time, i would've changed the size of the flash as well. Good review!

One-line summary of my review.

Bark At The Moon is probably one of my favorite songs of all time. Mostly because I love Guitar Hero.

So, anyway. The review.

Originality/Diversity: Originality here isn't applicable, since this is a cover song. As for diversity, I have no idea what to say about that, but I gave you a 4 because it looks better.

Clarity: Not good. I think someone mentioned a tin can here? The output is very scratchy, sort of like you used earbuds instead of a mic (which you really shouldn't be doing if you're trying to record in the first place).

Effort: Whheeee!! So I give you a nice bunch of effort points because I can actually hear that you played good notes. Not many mistakes as far as I can tell; also, I like how you did the whole song (at least I think you did, I wasn't sure whether you had finished or not by the time I hit stop). Normally this is the kind of unplanned offstage scratch-out I hear at coffeehouses at my school, but you did take the time to record it and that shows you must be proud of the work you did.

Overall. Decent cover, not-so-decent sound quality, however I do see potential for improving on this track and that's why you get a nice little 6 instead of a 4 or 5.

welshy1000 responds:

thanks.. my mic is a peice, which explains the poor sound quality. i also have no real recording software thats compatable with this computer. but thanks for taking the time to listen and review

Shame there aren't more genres available.

It'd be so much easier for me to listen to stuff like this and be able to review it for its own kind of music. I'm not exactly a metalhead so I probably couldn't tell you the difference between all the different subgenres, but this track sounds a lot like Dragonforce (albeit slower) so I'm going to see it as power metal. Funn.

Originality/Diversity: Both of these categories are kind of the same, and I'm not going waste time embellishing upon them separately. Like I said before, it sounds like Dragonforce to me. A bit too generic for my taste. It's an excellent track no doubt, but doesn't stand out much.

Clarity: Pretty good, but among your audio and others, I've heard better. Not much else to say here.

Effort: Thank god this isn't one of those 2-second solo bit types. I like how you stretched it out to 2+ minutes (didn't pay attention to the time, just an estimate), I'm not a big fan of loops.

Great playing here. I've been listening to some of your other tracks and noticed that you're pretty good at making the beginning sound interesting, and just as importantly keeping that level of interest up for the rest of the song. This is the last sentence of the review where I'm supposed to say something deep and patronizing, but obviously I can't think of one, so you can have this thing.

rocker206 responds:

Wow thanks for the awesome review.

Alright.

but just what does this have to do with 50 Cent? who I <3, by the way.

It's pretty good, but it doesn't sound much different from most of the other hip-hop beats on the portal.

MastaRadar responds:

i guess i felt like i was ripping 50 off the whole time i was writing such a generic song.

what am i doing here?
